Getting to Houston: Fly into HOU (or IAH!)
We’re so excited to welcome you to Houston for our wedding weekend! If you’re flying in, here’s everything you need to know about the airports, how to get around, and a few helpful tips to make your travel smooth and stress-free.
Preferred Airport: William P. Hobby Airport (HOU)
Hobby is our go-to airport recommendation! It’s smaller, easy to navigate, and conveniently located about 20 minutes from most central Houston hotels and venues (including ours!).
Alternate Option: George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH)
If you’re flying in internationally or prefer a different airline, IAH is a solid option—but heads up, it’s about 45–60 minutes from central Houston depending on traffic.
Settle Down in H-Town
We’ve reserved a block of rooms at the Houston Marriott Marquis, a stunning hotel with a lazy river in the shape of Texas (yes, really). Whether you're here for the party, the pool, or the skyline views, this is the place to be.

Swangin' Through the City
We recommend renting a car or using a ride-share app (Uber, Lyft, your favorite chauffeur friend) to get around Houston with ease.
The ceremony + reception will be held at Sandlewood Manor in Tomball—about a 40-minute ride from the hotel. It’s a bit of a trip, but totally worth it (trust us, it’s beautiful).
How to Get There:
Rent a car if you’re planning to explore or want your own wheels.
Uber/Lyft are solid options for getting around Houston and to the venue.

- Note: When sending payment, please comment your name (and any others, if paying for multiple guests) to reserve a spot on the list.
- Two shuttles will be available for pickup from the Houston Marriott Marquis. The shuttles will depart from the hotel at 4 PM. SHARP.
- ⏰ Please, please, PLEASE be on time! The shuttles will be on a strict schedule.
- There will be two departure trips from the wedding venue back to the Houston Marriott Marquis:
Early Ride: 1 bus departs from Sandlewood Manor at 9:30 PM, arrives at Houston Marriott Marquis by 10:15 PM.
Late Night: 2 buses depart from Sandlewood Manor at 11:00 PM, arrive at Houston Marriott Marquis by 11:45 PM
Not staying in the hotel?
Meet us pool side at the Marriott Marquis via Resort Pass! Enjoy the Texas shaped lazy river and pool. If you are staying in the hotel, you will automatically receive pool passes: 2 passes for a king room and 4 passes for a queen double bed room. There are no kid passes via resort pass. Please reach out to the hotel for accommodations.
